Jenelle's Baptism

Jenelle asked Jesus into her heart sitting on the couch with Mike and I on Tuesday night, March 23. She attended the baptism class on Easter with Ms. Kristi Sprague and then we scheduled her baptism when her grandparents and Aunt Jessica, Uncle Matt could attend. It was also important to Jenelle to be able to invite our neighbors. We invited 6 families and 3 were represented at her baptism. That was so neat.

Here's Jenelle getting ready to be dressed in a robe with the help of Sue Arnett.

After Sunday school, we had a celebratory lunch at my parents' home. It was a beautiful day!

Mike's 42nd

We started celebrating Mike's birthday last Sunday (in conjunction with the celebration of Jenelle's baptism). Mike was signed up to teach Bible study today and he knew he would be busy studying all week so we did a little family celebrating today after his birthday meal at Wendy's. (By the way, Mike presented an awesome lesson on the Tabernacle, complete with an actual outline of the Tabernacle marked out with blue tape on the floor!)

Here is Stephen checking out the gifts

My sisters sent him funny cards

The frisbee golf set was a hit by the whole family. Jenelle and Clay have already divvied up the frisbees and there isn't one for Mike. How did that happen?:)

Mike picked out this gift for himself (a book to help him study the Bible, of course)
