Sunday

Well, this is the third week in a row that we've all made it to church. That's pretty amazing. I guess we're getting more used to having 3 kids and they've all been well. Thank You, God! Anyway, we made it to Sunday School and then we went to the worship service, not knowing how long we would be able to stay with Stephen. After his first squawk, we got out of there quickly. We were sitting near a door. Mike decided he would take the car seat and stuff and go to the van to cool it down and I would go get Jenelle and Clay from their classes. When I was in the lobby checking the kids out, I heard a child crying. I thought it sounded like Jenelle. I was right. I found her sitting on the little potty crying. She had smashed her finger in the door. She calmed down a bit and we got her crafts. On to the next building to get Clay. When I walked into the lobby, I heard another child crying. It sounded like Clay. It was. He had just bonked his head. At least they didn't have to page us since I was already there. The Bible story they had was about Jesus healing the 10 lepers and the one coming back to say thank you to Jesus. Their crafts had bandaids on them. I thought that was funny considering how I found them.

We gad breakfast and an egg hunt on the day before Easter at Mike's parents'. It was a fun time. You can see that even Stephen got an egg.Jenelle and Clay with their eggs--special baskets that Grandma H got for them

Jenelle and Clay singing "I am a 'C'", which is pretty impressive since Jenelle doesn't know how to spell and Clay doesn't know his letters.

A Little Comparison

I was having fun today going through Clayton's clothes that are now for Stephen. Here are some comparison pictures. The ages aren't exact, but close.

This last week

Stephen "sleep walking"My parents took each of the kids for an sleep over. Here is Jenelle before they took her. She got to attend Disney on Ice and color Easter eggs. We picked her up at church the next day.
Stephen and Mommy cuddling
Jenelle holding Stephen AND feeding him. She is really showing more responsibility around the house. It's wonderful. Of course, she's still 4 and we have to be prepared for that, too. :)
Clayton loves to color and does an excellent job--especially for a 2 year old. He is very detailed. Jenelle loves to color, too, and leaves no white space on her coloring pages. She does a good job. Clayton likes to color with Grandma. My mom has come over to help me out a few days and I have gotten good naps those days. Thanks, Mom.
Here are Clayton and Grandma ready to leave for his sleepover.

Catching up--a bit

We went to El Pollo Loco for lunch. My dad always gets an ice cream that we all share. It's a tradition! Stephen admiring Grandma

Playing

Jenelle said. "Clay, I'm hiding in your room." A little while later she said, "Check in your closet." I was amused.

Recent Life

Stephen's first 3 piece suit--preemie as it may be. It was from Grandma and Grandpa H. Stephen wore it to his one month appt. He weighed in at 7 lb 12 oz. He had gained 29 oz in 14 days! He measured 20.5 inches. He is growing and everything checked out perfectly. There were tree trimmers next door and Clayton and Jenelle were very interested. It was cute.

All 3 of our kids--Stephen wearing his first pair of pants.
