We spent a couple of hours with my Aunt Sandy, Uncle Dennis and my cousin, April. We got to have lunch with them on Saturday.

Stephen slept in the closet. All of our kids have slept in the closet during their first hotel stay--saves room from having to pack the portable crib.
We stopped to see Grandma Fredriks on the way home. Stephen may be her newest great grandchild. I'm not sure.
It was a good trip and we got to spend time with 10 family members. When we got home on Sunday night about 7, Mike helped me to unpack and we got two loads of laundry done and the kids showered. It is good to be home and have more space. I am glad to not have to nurse Stephen in the bathroom at night.:) He is basically sleeping through the night now. :)

Road trips are fun but it is always nice to come home to your own amenities. I plan to visit my brother for a week or so this summer, but still pondering if I will take the dog. I will miss her dearly but it will be hard to travel with her. I will have to pray about it (I have time).
I love Stephen's closet "bed", I remember the many trips we took to see family in N. Cal.. Mike, remember the alphabet game and singing? Mostly good mememories. The bad things are soon forgotten, now's the time to do those things with your family. Glad you had a good trip!

I'm so glad that your trip went well. :) Stephen is adorable in his bed in the closet, and Jenelle and Clay must have had fun in the big bed together, too. I hope that you had a nice weekend!
