We went berry picking with my moms' group up in the local hills. I mistakenly thought it would be cooler there than at home. Oh well. It was a neat experience. The thorns made getting the berries a challenge, but all the more worth it. Denise and her two older kids were there, too. The blackberries were harder to get. I have never picked raspberries before. Yum, yum.

yum... i love berries. Sounds like you had fun :) How nice that you have that group to do things with.
Great pictures Heather. That one of Clay by himself amongst the leaves with a little pink in his cheeks would be an awesome black and white one! It just looks old-fashioned to me.
