Date Night

I called my mom Saturday morning and asked if she and Dad would like some bonding time with Jenelle and Clay. They agreed to have them come last night. Mike and I dropped them off and got to go on a DATE. First, we went to See's (I have gift cards from Christmas and my birthday, but Mike likes to be with me when I fulfill them) and I got a 1/2 pound. Mmm. I've enjoyed a couple of pieces besides the sample, which was also delicious. Then we went to Sizzler. I had a 15% off coupon. We saved about $5. We split the Classic Trio--8 oz steak, Malibu chicken, shrimp and rice pilaf. Good, good, good. Then we went to Lowe's and filled up with gas ($70.01) before going back to my parents'. It was a nice time. We should do it more often.:) Thanks, Mom and Dad for giving us that time and loving Jenelle and Clay.
