Look what's inside. An ironing board in the wall, a place to store and plug the iron in and a light for ironing!
(When I opened it up to show Jenelle, she said, "Do we go potty in there?" She's not very familiar with the whole ironing process.)

Look how easily it lays down and as soon as we turn the timer, the iron and the little light turn on--ready to iron. Do we remember how?

Mike smiled smugly as he ironed. He is proud of his hard work paying off--and that we can now find our iron and our ironing board.:) When my sister has stayed over night with us a couple of times, we have had to search for the iron--rather embarrassing.

Mike even taught me to iron. Will wonders never cease!? (It's actually kind of fun).

If you think that leaving the diaper out of the pail is bad, just imagine what would have happened if Jenelle had left a "surprise" behind that little door.
On to serious matters, that is a great idea for space-saving, and keeping track of the iron/board! Too bad we can't install that in the apartment. I'll keep it in mind for when we buy a house, though. Way to go, Mike! :)
haha, don't go potty in the iron closet! That is such a neat thing... I think we need one of those. I hate having to get the big ironing board out of the closet. I have to admit I hate ironing period, it is one of my very least favorite chores... it's just so time consuming, and you can't rush through it. I usually put it off until Matt has several shirts that need ironing.
The iron is so convenient. I'm getting ready to iron right now. As long as we leave it on, the timer will turn it off--no need to remember. So, as soon as the timer/light is on, it will warm up. That's kind of cool, too.
I am glad that Jenelle never tried to leave us "surprises". She's doing so well potty training.
