However, they are very wet. Since the carpet cleaner finished about 1pm, we kept the doors and windows open. We love how open and spacious our rooms look. Here's the front room.
Here's the window room and deck (you can see the deck through the open door).
This is the garage. Can you see the van to the right of the picture and the garage door in the center back of the picture? Mike even made it possible for me to take my nap on the couch in the garage--which was actually warmer than the house because of all the open windows and doors. The problem was that I didn't think I'd get to take a nap so I went ahead and had some caffeinated drinks at lunch time. So, sleep didn't come, but I did get to rest my eyes a bit.
We have prayed for rain and looked forward to the rainy forecast and it came! The temperature dropped and it got even colder. We are all wearing jackets and shoes inside. We are grateful for the rain. It just wasn't the best timing for us to clean our carpets. But I guess, this just makes it more of an adventure.
Our friend, Jim, came over this morning and helped Mike to move the big furniture. We are very grateful for the help. We are not planning on moving the furniture back inside till tomorrow, so tonight will be another adventure. The hardest part for the kids is that the TV is not available for their movies. This, too, shall pass.:)

Yay for clean carpets, especially before the baby comes :) Bummer that it was so cold in your house!
Yeah, we had to go out to dinner. Shucks! Mike is in the midst of putting our house back together. That's exciting.
The carpets look great! I'm a bit jealous as I look down at all of our stains. Glad you got to go out to dinner too. What a good day.
Thanks, I would recommend that if you get them done, wait till summer or till you and the kids will be gone most of the day. Change is hard.:)We're glad to have things put back together.
