Our Baby Appt

Mike took the day off to get some things accomplished, so he got to take me to my dr appt. Our friend, Veronica, came over to watch the kids. Thank you, Veronica. Anyway, my appt went well. Mike is diligently keeping up with his Bible reading. My whole appt went so quickly that Mike hadn't even finished one chapter of reading. That was funny. He didn't even look up when the door opened because it couldn't possibly have been me.:)

I measured just right and the baby's heart beat was nice and strong. I told my dr that the baby has the hiccups quite frequently and she said that's actually a good sign that the baby is strong. I told her sometimes I wish I could scare the baby into stopping.:) I have about 6 1/2 weeks left.

Now, I just have to find time to pre-register at the hospital. Very exciting that I'll get to experience the (semi-) new wing. We took the virtual tour on-line and it looks very nice. Of course, it didn't have the sound effects of a woman in labor, but that's okay. I'll supply my own sound effects.:)
