Mike

Mike is my friend, my helper, my support and my husband.

I noticed him before we started dating and I admired him--mostly for his desire to read the Bible and his ability to understand and share what he had read. He actually was the only person to beat me when we played Bible trivia.:)

I had a couple of lists of qualifications that I wanted in my future husband and he exceeded both lists! We started dating in November 1998 and we knew by January that we wanted to be married. (He actually says he knew before we started dating.) We got engaged in April 1999 and got married in November 1999.

I love being married to Mike. He (tries to) understand me. He makes me laugh. He can help me not be so grouchy. He enjoys being with me and loves to cuddle with me. We enjoy similar movies and we both enjoy reading. He is a sweet and fun dad. We both know we're not perfect, but we keep each other off the streets.

Aw! As a teacher who sees so many broken homes,I always appreciate Godly couples like you and your parents. Though I don't know where my parents stand in their relationship with God I appreciate that they have kept it together for over 40 years. It seems they are more in love now than ever.

Thank you Heather for being willing to express all of these things about me. I would love to be able to express myself that well. If I could I would say much the same for you. You really have made our relationship an enjoyable experience and I look forward to the years to come. I love you Heather, LOVE, Mike
