Three Different Titles

I couldn't decided on a title. I have 3 possibilities in my mind.
1) Trash Day
2) Ah, poop!
3) Helpers
It's kind of all three, so here goes.
It is trash day and that is very exciting around here. A lot of Thursdays we are gone and don't get to see the trash trucks, but today we are home! I put out all three cans and we waited for the trucks to come. We heard that wonderful sound. A trash truck was on our street. As the recycle truck continued around the cul-de-sac on its way to our house, another trash truck turned onto our street. Jenelle was outside. Clayton and I were watching from the window. From outside, Jenelle looked in the window and said, "Two trucks on our street at the same time! Isn't it amazing?!" Very cute.

A little later on, Jenelle said, "I picked up poop." I, knowing that only the recyle and green waste cans were back inside the gate, said, "Where did you put the poop?" Answer, "In the blue one." Ugh, the recycle. So, I went outside and turned it upside down to get the poop out. Those cans are heavy. Anyway, out rolled the poop. I stood the can back up, but not before the lid smashed some of the poop which got on my hand as I stood it up. Yuck. I had Jenelle give me the pooper scooper and I deposited it in our yucky trash can. Since I had to clean up the recycle lid anyway, I went ahead and used the anti-bacterial wipe on our yucky trash can, too, because, for awhile it has been sticky and got my hand dirty. Never a good time to clean the trash can, but for now, at least, we have two clean trash can lids.:)

A little later still, I thought, "where is Clayton. I hope he is not in the garage." He was. He had taken all the Otter Pops out of the box and I felt a little liquid. Bummer. It looked like he had drunk part of one, or it just leaked. I put them all back in the box and just to reward him for his good choices, we all got to eat a frozen Otter Pop out in the North 40. :)
